NEGARA MOSQUE (The National Mosque)- Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia

 NEGARA MOSQUE (The National Mosque)

The elegance of the building and the splendor of architecture

Negara Mosque is located in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, next to Ton Abdul Razak Heritage Park, which is a perfect blend of magnificent architecture mixed with the beauty of the lush green ocean.

The mosque was built in 1965 and was renovated in 1987 as a symbol of Malaysia's independence. The architecture of the mosque was built prominently, with the roof of the prayer hall designed to appear open.

The Negara Mosque is one of the most famous tourist areas in Malaysia, and it is one of the most extensive mosques in Malaysia, as it contains about 15,000 people

Its total area is about 13 acres and the Negara Mosque contains inside it a beautiful garden with a pool and fountains that impress the Arab tourists in Malaysia.

The mosque is also the first mosque built under the new Islamic government, as it is decorated with panels of Arabic calligraphy and bears a zigzag dome with regular geometric dimensions consisting of 18 star polygons. It looks like a parachute.
