The wonderful and dazzling Kuala Lumpur flourishes with a number of
beautiful and charming gardens in every part, including the bird garden, which
is in the middle of the botanical gardens known for its stunning views and
tranquility in the midst of the Malaysian capital's hustle and bustle. Great
atmosphere with only bird sounds and tweets
Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is part of Perdana Gardens
The Bird Garden was established in 1991 as part of the Perdana
Gardens that was established in 1888, which also includes an artificial lake,
waterfalls, a botanical garden, a butterfly garden, a flower garden, a national
monument, a deer park, hibiscus gardens, marshmallows, the former parliament
building ... and others.
The bird park has become a popular tourist destination in Malaysia, as it attracts about 200 thousand visitors annually, and perhaps this is due to it is the largest birdcage in the world with an area of more than 8.5 hectares and it includes about 3 thousand birds from 200 different types of birds that live in Asia or around the world.
The park is a great opportunity for families with children to go
through an educational experience about the life of some birds or for
industrial nurseries and hatching rooms, and it also provides some fun when
watching the daily shows that are held with a number of birds or when they
participate in the program dedicated to feeding them.
You will be able to freely wander inside the caged garden and see
all species if you can be patient to observe everyone, and there are some pet
birds that you can touch and take photos while you carry them, the important
thing is not to lose sight of yourself seeing mandarin ducks, eagles, Abu Qarn,
pink flamingos, ostriches, and others.

Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is located only 10 minutes from the city
center, and can be easily reached by taxis or top-on-top buses, which are the best
to reach all landmarks in Kuala Lumpur, and the train, in turn, is one of the
best means of transportation in the capital. Just stop at Pasar Seni on the LRT
train, or the Kuala Lumpur station on the KTM line.
Exiting either of them will meet you with the National Mosque (Mosque of Negara) and directly behind it is the Museum of Islamic Arts, then the Botanical Gardens (or the Lake Gardens, or Perdana), which includes butterfly and bird gardens as parts of it, so travelers often put these attractions on their lists for a day tour.
